Full Job Description
Direct Counsel has partnered with a Premier, nationally recognized firm in seeking a candidate to fill their Labor and Employment Associate Attorney role. The ideal candidate would have 3 to 6 years of Labor and Employment law experience.
This would be a Hybrid Position located in Seattle WA with 2-3 days in office. Pursuant to Washington Regulation, the Salary range for this position is $180,000 to $225,000 annually.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in litigation and administrative proceedings concerning labor and employment disputes.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on a wide range of employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour compliance, wrongful termination, and employment contracts.
- Assist with compliance audits and investigations.
- Draft and review employment policies, handbooks, and agreements.
- Participate in negotiations and mediations.
- Keep abreast of legislative and regulatory developments affecting labor and employment law.
- Collaborate effectively with partners, associates, and support staff to deliver exceptional legal services to clients.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the WA state bar and in good standing.
- At least 2 years of experience practicing labor and employment law, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client service excellence.
Benefits
Pay: $180,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
