Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical) in Richland, WA.

This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA, and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. The Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).
Provide leadership and oversight to field personnel in the planning and execution of mechanical pipefitting/plumbing maintenance, repair and/or installation work activities. Ensure field personnel are compliant with company mandated and other applicable policies, procedures, programs and regulations including DOE directives, personnel safety, environmental compliance and safety of the general public.
Responsibilities:
- Under general managerial oversight, supports planning and execution of corrective and preventative maintenance work activities.

- Implements ISMS, VPP, and EMS responsibilities in assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Provides leadership and oversight for ensuring the requisite level of conduct of operations, safety management program implementation and compliance in the planning and execution of these activities.
- Plans/executes multiple, complex field activities with a demonstrated record of successful schedule execution.
- Ensures work packages are technically correct and capable of being performed safely and efficiently.
- Resolves work and safety issues to permit safe and efficient performance of work in the field.
- Reviews and approves maintenance technical procedures (preventive maintenance); conducts field validation of technical procedures.
- Provides status and communicates work scope at “Plan of the Day” and “Plan of the Week” meetings.
- Resolves resource and schedule issues.
- Provides effective progressive performance management of employee issues; responds to employee issues, concerns, and resolves, to the extent practicable, bargaining unit grievance issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in a related discipline and 8 years’ related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Bargaining Unit employees, nuclear facility experience, experience with Collective Bargain Agreements.
- Extensive mechanical pipefitting/plumbing experience.
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.

Annual Salary Range (based on full-time 40 hours per week)
Grade 18: $104,175 - $131,425
Grade 19: $114,475 - $144,325
The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or relevant experience.
In accordance with the Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc (Navarro) salary determination process, Navarro takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities and the candidate’s education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. A candidate's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
