Our platform is set to redefine the way bridal stores operate, offering a suite of features designed to manage appointments, inventory, customer relationships, and more. Success in this role looks like:
- Product Adoption: Achieve significant platform adoption across the U.S., meeting specific targets.
- Revenue Growth: Generate total Operating Revenue of over $300,000 in the first year
- Feature Development: Launch key features enhancing core functionalities, driven by user feedback and market research.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead successful cross-functional projects, improving team efficiency and product market fit, demonstrated by reduced time to market for new features.
- Market Insights: Provide actionable insights into the bridal industry that inform strategic decisions, such as new market opportunities or product adjustments.
- Operational Excellence: Implement processes that improve product development efficiency and quality, evidenced by reduced development cycles and higher feature deployment frequency.
Core Responsibilities
- Play a critical role in the early stages of Poppy's growth, using your strategic vision to shape the product's future and ensure its success in the marketplace.
- Craft detailed user stories and manage the product backlog actively, ensuring that every feature and update directly contributes to our users' success and satisfaction.
- Work closely with Engineering teams during the “Sizing” & “Acceptance Testing” phases of development.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, from engineering teams to marketing and sales teams, ensuring clear understanding of product strategies and plans.
- Take full accountability for the product's success, actively seeking feedback from users and stakeholders to inform continuous product improvement and innovation.
- Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on a deep understanding of the bridal industry, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Communicate product strategies, updates, and outcomes across the company, ensuring all team members are aligned and motivated toward our common goals.
Requirements
Preferred Skills
- 2+ years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS environments OR 2+ years of experience launching a business within the bridal industry.
- A deep understanding of the bridal industry, with a customer-first mindset, is a requirement for this role
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional distributed teams, fostering collaboration and driving projects to successful and timely completion.
- Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proven experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- A passion for creating processes and practices that ensure consistency and high-quality across the product.
Technical requirements:
- Must have access to a wired internet connection
- Must have access to at least a 25 megabits per second (mbps) download and 20 mbps upload speed connection
The salary for this position is $100,000 - $160,000. We may be open to negotiating outside of this range if the desired salary aligns with the needs of the candidate and the company.
