The Recruiting Manager actively partners with business leaders to meet and anticipate the evolving staffing needs of the organization. Utilizing traditional sourcing strategies, in addition to developing new, creative recruiting channels, identifies and hires “A level” talent while consistently achieving staffing level objectives. Delivers a positive start to finish candidate experience during every stage of the recruiting process. Ensures successful onboarding and organizational integration. Serves as a brand ambassador for TransWest in all channels of the business and its communication.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Partner and establish trust with business leaders and stakeholders to identify and understand their talent needs.
· Collaborate with Marketing to create and develop effective recruitment campaigns and channels to source both active and passive candidates. Includes, but not limited to online advertising; college career and hiring events; community networking; career centers; job fairs; print ads; social media and more.
· Prepare recruiting materials; compose and post available position descriptions and ad copy, emphasizing the company’s brand and highlighting benefits and perks.
· For all levels of the organization, identify, screen, and assess the candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, and experience in a consistent manner. Present final candidates to hiring managers for their review.
· Assists candidates in person, with applications and onboarding documents.
· Arrange interviews by coordinating schedules; arrange travel, lodging, and meals, as applicable.
· Collaborates with Marketing on the look and content of the Careers page of the TransWest website including other online presence, i.e. Glassdoor, Indeed, social media, ETC…
· Creates, maintains & reports on all recruiting pipeline activity and finds creative ways to keep each position pipeline fresh & active.
· Facilitate and evolve the Team Member onboarding experience as a fluid continuation of the recruiting and hiring process. Set the tone of excitement and positivity in all aspects of the onboarding process.
· Support the People & Culture team to solidify and promote the company’s brand and reputation as the best place to work in the greater Seattle area and beyond.
· Conduct detailed reference checks and facilitate background checks, drug screens, DOL compliance, Driving Abstracts etc.
· Track, report and distribute key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity, recruiting channel effectiveness & full cycle recruiting efficiencies.
· Stay current on the company’s organizational structure, policies, and state and federal laws pertaining to fair employment practices.
· Tracking and managing uniform ordering & supplies.
· Leads, mentors & coaches the Recruiting team.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of People & Culture or Leadership Team.

Requirements
- AA or undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
- 5+ years of external recruiting experience (2+ at supervisory level).
- Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting.
- Experience with various interview formats, (i.e. phone, remote, structured, group etc.)
- Experience recruiting for all levels of an organization
· Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases
- Current working knowledge of legislation pertaining to employment and fair hiring practices including, but not limited to, Title XII; ADEA; ADA; FLSA.
- Experience in HR Generalist activities a plus.
- Experience hiring for Transportation and relevant certification a plus.
- Ability to work full time out of our Seattle (Sodo) location, with occasional work out of our Yard locations in Seattle (Sodo) and Everett.
Benefits
Salary Range $80-$110k DOE
This is a full-time in office role in Seattle.
