We have a new opening on our team in Seattle!
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Location Manager is responsible for managing the routes, Team Members (50 to 100+) and fleet allocations specific to their location. Through planning, preparation, effective communication and efficient operational execution the Location Manager will be accountable for the overall success of their division. A successful Location Manager will be focused on improving our People and Processes. Additionally, the Location Manager for ensuring their division is operating according to plan, which includes providing high-quality service to our clients in a manner that is true to the TransWest ethos. Location Managers will embody the TransWest Core Values and hold other Team Members accountable to the same standard.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Safety first mind set.
- Providing Supervisors with clear direction, roles and responsibilities.
- Attend and lead the daily safety meetings and interact with the Driver team.
- Ensure the successful execution of all day-to-day operations and transportation services within their assigned division. Meet all internal and external (client) on-time performance objectives.
- Manage, schedule, train, and coach all location Drivers, Supervisors and other support personnel.
- Hold regular meetings with your team, both individual and in group settings, emphasizing safety and service expectations.
- Partner with the training team to improve driver performance and address areas of concern pertaining to driver safety and client service.
- Regularly review Safety Score Card results and other KPIs with Supervisors, Drivers and other support team.
- Identify and develop “high potential” team members to support organizational growth and individual team member development.
- Conduct on-road observations of drivers to ensure all TransWest driving principles are upheld and exercised continually.
- Partner with the Fleet Team on vehicle maintenance (both planned and unplanned) ensuring little to no down time in service.
- Assist with the opening of any new locations, including but not limited to driver sourcing, training, scheduling, route planning, safety compliance, supply procurement etc.
- Partner with the People and Culture Team to address Team Member concerns and areas of poor performance.
- Understand and deliver on all Client contracted requirements
- Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives as needed
- Develop key relationships with service providers that support shuttle operations and help enhance existing customer satisfaction/retention
- All other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Associate Level Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ Years of supervisory or management experience required.
- Must have a current Driver’s license with a minimum of a Commercial Driver’s license with a P endorsement or be able to obtain within 90 days of start date.
- Must have an active US DOT Medical Card or be able to obtain within 90 days of start date.
- Must have experience running a shuttle program with commercial licensed drivers.
- Ability to be flexible in schedule in order to meet operational needs. This may require occasionally working outside of regularly scheduled hours.
- Must be willing to work in outside environments, which may include inclement weather.
