If you're looking are a career in driving, then TransWest is looking for you! We have current openings to join our team in Seattle as a non-CDL shuttle driver. In this role you will be driving a wheelchair accessible shuttle vehicle.
Earn $21 an hour plus quarterly safety bonuses! We also offer health and retirement benefits!
TransWest provides passenger transportation services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Most of our shuttle driver schedules require availability between 5:30am and 8pm. We have weekday and weekend shifts available.
Responsibilities:
Must be professional and safety minded
Assist passengers to and from and on and off vehicle (including wheelchair and walker bound passengers)
Ensure passengers are properly secured by hooking and harnessing said passengers into vehicle.
Operate motorized lift (will provide training)
Perform DOT daily inspections on assigned equipment and fuel equipment as necessary
Provide excellent customer service in every interaction
Maintain shuttle van cleanliness
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Must be physically able to secure clients in wheelchairs or other devices
- Must pass pre-employment DOT drug test
- Able to communicate proficiently in English
- Able to work independently, yet able to take direction
- Able to pass a criminal history background check
- Current/Active DOT Medical Card (Can be obtained during hiring process)
