Building Maintenance - Service Tech

North Prairie based maintenance service contractor is seeking Building Maintenance Service Techs to join their team! This exciting opportunity requires travel to different locations throughout WI as you provide maintenance and repair services for commercial buildings. As a Service Tech, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of the buildings.

Schedule: 40-50 hours per week; must have some flexibility

Wage: $30 - 38 per hour; based on experience

• Must have good driving record; will be issued a company car for travel
• Solid understanding of plumbing, HVAC and electrical is required

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of buildings to identify maintenance needs
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing and electrical systems
• Repair and replace damaged building materials, such as doors, windows, and flooring
• Respond promptly to service requests and complete the necessary repairs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to coordinate repairs and upgrades
• Assist with the setup and removal of equipment for events and meetings
• Travel to different locations as required for service calls

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in building maintenance or a related field
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• General building maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel to different locations
• Flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
