International Service Engineer - Travel role - Up to 115k DOE
Our client, a leading company in the field of inspection equipment, EDT, and machine controls for the steel and aluminum industry, is seeking an International Service Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a background in electrical engineering to work for a market leader and gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic, global environment.
As an International Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Installing, maintaining, repairing, and calibrating customer-specific inspection systems and machine controls
- Traveling to customer sites, primarily in the US, Canada, and Mexico, for up to 3 weeks at a time
- Processing administrative tasks, reports, and customer visits when not on-site
- Answering technical questions from clients and repairing parts sent by customers to the company's workshop
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience as an Engineer, particularly in international deployments
- Knowledge of electronics, PCs, PLCs, and mechanics
- Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques, such as Eddy current and Ultrasound measurement
- Experience with Electro Discharging Texturing (EDT)
- A willingness to travel frequently and work independently with flexibility
Experience with rolling mills is a plus but not a requirement.

Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering +2 years relevant exp or equivalent experience or Associate with 4 years of experience
- Experience as an Engineer, particularly in international deployments
- Knowledge of electronics, PCs, PLCs, and mechanics
- Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques, such as Eddy current and Ultrasound measurement
- Experience with Electro Discharging Texturing (EDT)
