Parallel Employment Group is seeking a QC Tech to join our team for a 2nd shift position. As a QC Tech, you will be responsible for performing quality control inspections on products and ensuring they meet the required standards. JOB DESCRIPTION:
Inspect handling parts and complex assemblies using drawings and specifications to validate conformance to established guidelines, standards and customer requirements.
Investigate quality issues and assist in researching and disposition of product.
Compile clear and concise quality notifications.
Communicate results for requesting effective corrective action to bring resolution to attain high quality of end product economically and efficiently.
Assist with customer returns in finding root cause and help determining corrective action.
Recommend improvements to processes/procedures to enhance efficiency of workflow and quality of output.
Execute multiple transactions within the SAP Enterprise System.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a high degree of skill and knowledge of precision assembly techniques as well as basic design and mechanical principles.
Ability to read blueprints, knowledge of metric system and computer skills required. Well developed trouble shooting/problem solving skills required.
Ability to work under pressure, handle deadlines and communicate effectively.
High school education plus two to five years related job experience required. Testing required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections on products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Conduct tests and measurements to check for product specifications and compliance
- Record and document inspection data and findings
- Identify and report any quality issues or non-conforming products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality concerns
- Adhere to quality control procedures and standards
- Ensure equipment and tools are properly calibrated and maintained
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality
Requirements:

- Previous experience in quality control or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Basic computer skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Ability to work on 2nd shift
