We’re hiring Sales Development Representatives (SDR) who focus on generating new business opportunities for the company by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers.
The SDR role will be hybrid and the incumbent will be expected to be in the satellite office based in Wauwatosa, WI or Colorado, Denver office 2-3 days a week.

You will be under the leadership of a highly experienced sales leader who has demonstrated success in developing and leading high performing SDR teams. In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop yourselves via online and instructor-led training. You will have the latest and greatest sales tools and technologies to be successful. Among other career paths, the role could lead to opportunities for growing into sales or account management.
What we need
- Prospect for new business relationships within an assigned territory using excellent communication skills, company marketing materials, and strong follow-ups
- Develop a solid knowledge across Datassential’s product suite including value proposition and customer success stories
- Forecast and deliver a set number of qualified leads each month
- Effectively utilize Datassential's CRM system (Salesforce.com)
- Meet with sales team weekly to discuss key targets and collateral
- The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a sales development role, having managed email & cold-calling volume with targets of approximately 80 activities per day to include phone or email and LinkedIn.
- Develop expertise in working with CRM, pipelines, contracts, and formal presentations.
- Some travel to industry conferences and company events as needed

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales or marketing or equivalent experience
- Strong business-level communication skills both written and verbal
- 1-3 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, and/ or cold-calling roles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Tech-savvy and able to learn new tools quickly
- Some CRM knowledge is required
- Knowledge of prospecting tools such as Salesforce, Groove, Sales Navigator and Zoominfo is a plus
