Full Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with Trachte’s senior leadership team to support M&A activities and contribute to the continuous development of the FP&A activities. You will report to the Director of Business Development. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office per week.
Play a key role in the M&A lifecycle for a private equity-backed organization:
o Support Director of Business Development & FP&A and senior leadership team across the M&A lifecycle.
o Build analytical models, perform financial analysis, and evaluate company and market information.
o Support the analysis and presentations for C-Suite and Board of Directors
o Assist in the day-to-day execution of transactions, including due diligence, management meetings, and post-closing integration.
o Assists senior leadership team to ensure seamless integration of acquired companies post-closing.
o Manage the M&A pipeline - keeping information up-to-date and continuously tracking each opportunity.
Support with continuous development of the FP&A function at Trachte:
o Assist with Annual Budgeting and Forecasting processes.
o Develop and deliver actionable and insightful analyses of retrospective and expected trends.
o Support team with maintain reporting, dashboards, and presentations across the organization.
o Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis/special projects to assist management with understanding business performance and support strategic initiatives.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance.
Requirements
- Advanced skills with MS Office software, primarily MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strategic mindset with advanced financial analysis & financial modeling skills
- Demonstrated strategy assessment and project management skills
- 3+ years of FP&A, Corporate Finance, or M&A (Private equity, investment banking, consulting) experience
- Prior experience with the M&A lifecycle
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
- Strong Excel skills, experience with BI tools (such as PowerBI) and SQL is a plus
- CFA, CPA, or similar certification is a plus
