Staff Accountant

• Create and post monthly journal entries.
• Support month-end close process to meet deadlines.
• Reconcile of balance sheet accounts.
• Complete monthly audit schedules.
• Reconcile daily bank balance.
• Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Update Sales by Channel and reconciliation of building revenue and direct costs.
• Ensure internal controls are properly followed in their area of responsibility. 
• Assist in the preparation of external audit material and external financial reporting.
• Maintain fixed asset system and accounts for all fixed asset transactions.
• Track by project of warranty revenue.
  
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications
A BA/BS degree in accounting with a minimum of one year of relevant private and/or public accounting experience in a manufacturing or construction environment. Strong communication skills, and interest in working in a team environment also required.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
CPA certification preferred but not required.
Cost accounting experience highly preferred.
