Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Daily Thread. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the general operations of the store and ensuring a cheerful and exceptional customer experience for all customers. Your main responsibilities will include developing and implementing a store sales strategy to maximize sales, managing the store team, aligning associates with our corporate values and mission, and achieving store objectives. You will be responsible for tasks such as opening and closing the store, managing inventory, implementing loss prevention measures, handling payroll and scheduling, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. Additionally, you will be expected to model effective sales techniques and provide leadership on the salesfloor, as well as mentor and develop the store team. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience in retail management, with a strong understanding of specialty retail, business development, visual merchandising, and store operations. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with a positive and entrepreneurial mindset. Requirements
Minimum one year experience in retail management, knowledge of local market and clientele a plus Multi-lingual a plus Full understanding of specialty retail, including business development, visual merchandising, and store operations Computer skills to include operation of retail point of sale system, Word, Excel, and email Ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move objects weighing up to 15 pounds Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Positive, outgoing, and high-energy personality Ability to mentor and develop staff Experience in customer service, selling, and operationsBenefits
