Welder

Parallel Employment is partnered with a manufacturing company in Delavan! We are currently seeking Welders/Balancers on 2nd and 3rd shift.

The purpose of the role is to correctly and safely weld and balance product to the print. Operate overhead crane to maneuver product, and use various techniques to straighten, balance, measure, and inspect work.

1st shift: 6am-4pm Monday- Thursday

2nd shift: 4p-2am Monday-Thursday

3rd shift: 10pm-6am Sunday- Wednesday

Starting Wage: $17-$19/hr DOE, (shift premiums available for 2nd and 3rd shift)!

Requirements

• Three to five years of related experience
• Read blueprints, work orders, and job routers.
• Good dexterity with hands and fingers.
• Welding certification

Work Environment:

This position primarily takes place on the shop floor of a manufacturing plant.  Employees are regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles, and work near moving mechanical parts. Noise level may vary. Employees may be required lift heavy objects up to 60 lbs. and stand for periods of time. This position requires good communication amongst employees. All positions require use of proper personal protective equipment and to actively participate in and received the Company’s safety training.
