The specialist will work closely with the Healthcare Billing and Operation...

You will be responsible introducing the drug’s assistance program, conducting benefit investigations and navigating reimbursement issues. Job tasks include entry of patient data, researching insurance benefits, contacting insurers, advising the healthcare provider and/or patient of patients’ benefits, identifying patient access barriers and seeking resources to overcome barriers.

• Start Date: Monday, May 28, 2024
• Location: Overland Park, Kansas - Employees on this team will remain on-site for training then have the opportunity to go remote.
• Schedule: 11:30am - 8pm CST Monday through Friday (NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS)
• Pay Range: $18 – $22/hour with an opportunity for growth!

The Remote Outstanding Insurance Specialist is a critical role responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the accounts receivable process for an assigned group of payors or supported region/company. This is an in office position.

Responsibilities

• Ensures claims are processed accurately to secure timely payment.

• Responds to inquiries, questions, and concerns from patients regarding the status of claims in a clear, concise, and courteous manner.

• Conducts follow-up and submits reimbursement appeals for unpaid and/or inappropriately paid claims; ensures appropriate documentation of billing, follow-up, collection, and appeal efforts are recorded on accounts.

• Identifies, researches, and ensures timely processing of billing errors and corrections as they relate to claims; actively participates in problem identification and resolution and coordinates resolutions between appropriate parties....
