We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Medical Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals at Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. As an Orthopedic Medical Assistant, you will provide support to our physicians and help to ensure efficient operation of our orthopedic clinic. Your primary responsibilities will include taking patient histories, preparing patients for exams, assisting with procedures, and managing patient records.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong background in healthcare and be knowledgeable about orthopedic procedures and treatments. They should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and be able to work well under pressure. POSITION PURPOSE

Under general supervision of the Clinic Manager and Physician, the Medical Assistant assists with patient care, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks.  Serves as a patient advocate within the health care system. Assists with the safety, comfort, care, and treatment of patients according to established standards.  Participates in the Hospital’s Quality Improvement and Service Excellence programs.  Demonstrates understanding of the philosophy, objectives, and adheres to policies and procedures of the department and organization.  Conveys a positive image of the practice.
