Technologist - Radiologic Technologist - Mammography

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Mammography Specialist. As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures to produce high-quality mammography images for the detection of breast cancer. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and ensure accurate and timely imaging results.

Responsibilities:

- Perform mammography imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment

- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and immobilization

- Obtain and record patient medical history and other relevant information

Position Purpose: The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for quality and efficient completion of radiologic procedures for diagnostic interpretation. The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing patient education, quality patient care, and meeting all regulatory compliance.

Position Specific Performance Expectations:

Demonstrates advanced knowledge in radiographic procedures including, but not limited to X-ray and Fluoroscopy, with C-arm and OR work.

May be required to perform other functions with-in the clinic. Any additional required training will be provided.

Practices radiation safety, adhering to ALARA standards.

Asks female patients if they are pregnant and protects them from harmful radiation.

Performs QC in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations.

Able to operate equipment consistent with manufacturer’s recommendations.
