Technologist - Radiologic Technologist - Mammography

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Mammography Specialist. As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures to produce high-quality mammography images for the detection of breast cancer. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and ensure accurate and timely imaging results.

Responsibilities:

- Perform mammography imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment

- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and immobilization

- Obtain and record patient medical history and other relevant information

- Educate patients about the imaging process and answer any questions they may have

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results

- Maintain accurate and complete patient records and imaging results

- Adhere to all safety and quality standards and practices

- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques

Requirements

Requirements:

- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

- Valid certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

- Valid state license to practice Radiologic Technology

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography imaging

- Strong knowledge of mammography imaging procedures and equipment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
