Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist is responsible for preparing and sending customer invoices, setting up recurring invoices, and reconciling payment issues. A successful AR Specialist is detail-oriented, has strong customer service skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This person also is responsible for ensuring a positive experience for our clients while navigating an often-negative part of the client lifecycle. This role operates on a Hybrid schedule in the greater Phoenix Area and works on an 8am-5pm PST shift.
What is expected in this role:
- Accurately invoicing clients in a timely manner and verifying pricing, calculations, and requesting additional documentation to support all assigned fees or discounts in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- This can include investigating and resolving account discrepancies and assisting with collections.
- Serving as the invoicing export supporting your assigned Sales POD ensuring client invoices and payments are properly documented and processed.
- This includes the daily monitoring of all team dashboards and taking corrective action as needed.
- Communicating with clients to request payment and arrange special payment plans as required and supporting any billing inquiries within the Service Level Agreement.
- Collaborating with other departments confirming fully invoiced and paid clients to release the corresponding client DBQs.
- Adhering to all regulations and processes as established by REE’s policies, along with safeguarding personally identifiable information / personal health information in accordance with HIPAA laws.

Requirements
What you need in this role to be successful:
- Ideally located in the Greater Phoenix Area.
- At least 1 year of experience as an AR or billing specialist, clerk, or other relative finance/ accounting experience.
- At least 1 year of experience working within a Finance Tool / Software such as ZoHo, Salesforce, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and navigating multiple platforms including ZoHo, Slack, Teams, etc.
- Previous experience in the medical industry is a Plus!
- Comfortability being on the phone whether sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations with an expert level attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of listening to understand client needs and ability to navigate difficult conversation with empath and tact to negotiate client payments, amount owed, due dates, and payment plans.
- This also means you can communicate effectively with different departments and levels within the organization.
- Track record of working in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving orientation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. A.S., B.A., B.S. degrees are a Plus!
