Voyage Foods is seeking a passionate and driven Foodservice Sales Manager who is eager to contribute to our continued success in the K-12 foodservice channel. To achieve this, the Foodservice Sales Manager identifies prospects, conducts customer research, builds a robust sales pipeline, conducts sales visits and ensures exceptional customer service to drive business growth. This position requires the ability to work cross-functionally with the Voyage team, high attention to detail, bringing an entrepreneurial and owner’s mindset to projects, strong communication skills and an aptitude and desire to learn and develop your career.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting: Target key K-12 decision makers with ongoing communication, virtual and/or in-person meetings and events/samplings with key accounts, sample shipment on an as-needed basis
- Distributor & Broker Management: Operate hand-in-hand with broker and distribution partners to maximize sales growth. Continuously engage with brokers and distributors to build sales forecasts, monitor performance metrics, and participate in strategic planning meetings.
- Sales: Drive sales volume by identifying new opportunities, actively selling and motivation distributor sales teams to prioritize the Voyage brand in their portfolio
- Planning: Build detailed sales forecast and corresponding budget, set and achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals, continually optimizing pipeline and customer accounts to maximize performance

Requirements
What Makes a Great Candidate
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience as Sales Manager with a proven track record in a similar role
- Willingness to travel for customer visits & trade shows (up to 50% of the time)
- Background in Consumer Packaging Goods (CPG) or Foodservice preferred but not required
- High level of proficiency with Google & Microsoft Suite
- Extreme proficiency with HubSpot
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana
- Natural problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and writing skills
