As a Sales Counselor, you will play a crucial role in showcasing the exceptional lifestyle and services our CCRC offers to prospective residents and their families. Your primary focus will be on building relationships, understanding individual needs, and guiding potential residents through the decision-making process. Must maintain a well-groomed, professional business appearance, promotes and upholds professional office atmosphere at all times while on duty.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective residents and their families through effective communication and rapport-building.
- Consultation: Conduct in-depth discovery to understand potential residents' preferences, needs, and goals, tailoring our offerings to meet their unique requirements.
- Community Tours: Provide engaging and informative tours of our CCRC, highlighting the various amenities, living options, and healthcare services available.
- Education: Offer detailed information about our continuum of care, pricing structures, and contract options to help prospective residents make informed decisions.
- Handles sales telephone calls to prospects and applicants, followed by data entry into Matrixcare database program, document telephone conversations, visits / event RSVP / tour dates, new leads, etc.
- Events- Will serve as support with such duties as securing rooms, event venue entertainment, ordering food through culinary department, handling day of event logistics and other duties to ensure a successful event.
- Direct Mail – Will be involved in the logistics of direct mail campaigns from working with vendors to managing deadlines.
- Brochure Requests - Responds to requests for informational material. Enters all requests into the Matrixcare program.
- Advertising/Marketing Reports - Prepares monthly report of marketing activities, as directed.
- Inventory Control - Maintain and update all departmental forms, letters and database files.
- Ensure that a minimum of 100 brochures is maintained for distribution.
- Welcome all guests to marketing office. Serve refreshments as required.
- Marketing letters and mailings – Prepare marketing letters and mailings as requested.
- Job role requires regular interaction with staff and residents and prospective residents. Incumbent must have tact, diplomacy and good communication skills. Confidentiality a must.
- Incumbent must be able to use good judgment and work independently toward goals as defined by the Sales and Marketing Plan and Procedures.
- All employees are responsible for complying with safety policies and procedures and shall take the necessary measures to ensure a safe environment for oneself, co-workers, residents, and visitors.
- Responsible for some clerical support and record keeping, which may affect operating or administrative functions.
- Assist with Monthly mailings; birthday cards, etc.
- Participate in the MOD Schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Team members will obtain and demonstrate knowledge of Successful Aging philosophies through Masterpiece Living education, including the core values of Integrity, Dedication, Respect, Compassion, Teamwork and Quality. Members will support and participate in the Successful Aging Culture (i.e., assist in new initiatives, encourage residents and act as their “coach”). Be familiar with and fluent in the language and details of Successful Aging/Masterpiece Living.
Requirements
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
- Requires minimum 2 years CCRC sales experience.
- Must have computer/word processing skills, as well as experience working in sales database systems, good phone skills and knowledge of office equipment.
- Must be able to perform all duties as requested.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/LICENSES/CERTIFICATES
Any combination of education and experience that would provide the necessary knowledge and abilities listed, typically:
- Must have California Driver’s license and be insurable under corporate insurance provider.
- College degree desirable.
- Professional Sales Training desirable.
