What will I do?
As a Business Development Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in generating leads and setting appointments for our Business Development Managers in government sales. This part-time position involves reaching out to potential clients via phone, email, and letters to schedule meetings with decision makers and influencers. - Prospect Outreach: Make outbound calls, send emails, and write letters to potential clients to introduce services.
- Definition: A Prospect Meeting is a scheduled interaction where a decision maker or influencer, along with any other interested parties, commits to at least 15 minutes of their time to speak exclusively with a BDM. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss services, address any questions, and explore potential opportunities for collaboration.
- Key Criteria: The presence of a decision maker or influencer.

- Database Management: Maintain accurate records of all outreach activities and scheduled meetings in the CRM system.
- Follow-up: Confirm appointments and manage rescheduling as needed to ensure maximum attendance.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on outreach activities and scheduled meetings to the sales team.
When will I work?
This is a part-time position, the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, flexible, but must be during Florida government business hours. This position is classified as Exempt under FLSA and is not eligible for overtime. The exact schedule will be discussed during the interview process since there is the ability to be flexible based on individual situations.
Compensation:
- Base Pay: $600.00 per month.
- Incentive Pay: $50.00 for every scheduled meeting that is confirmed and does not cancel.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
