We are looking for a Mental Health Program Manager to join our team! At Relieve Care, you will play a vital role within our organization, and have a substantial effect on the delivery of mental health services and programs throughout our facilities. As a Mental Health Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to bring fourth innovative leadership and cultural transformation across the business, while operating in accordance with the company's policies, vision, and values.
Relieve Care's mental health treatment programs deliver specialized, complex, and highly professional services that are integrated across the entire geographic area of which we serve and significantly affect the overall health care provided to our consumers. The main objective of your role as a program manager at Relieve Care will be to ensure facility reporting effectiveness and monitor/maintain the achievement of mental health performance measures.
Basic skills for this role include:
- Understanding of various clinical treatment modalities
- Experience in making clinical and administrative decisions.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Demonstrated experience in program development and/or management.
- Thorough understanding of the organization and administration of multifaceted health care delivery systems, which includes: specialty and subspecialty care, education principles, database management, accreditation standards, program evaluation techniques utilizing statistics and research methodology, group process, and team development.
Requirements
Ideal candidates must possess thorough understanding of both government operations and the health care industry, and are able to handle many initiatives simultaneously and prioritize accordingly. Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Development and coordination of mental health programs, policies, and procedures. This includes regular review, evaluation, and improvement network operations for our mental health services.
- Oversight of mental health administrative and clinical programmatic resources; and monitoring of outcomes using a data-driven quality assurance process.
- Develops, implements, and leads team management groups to effectively accomplish goals, focus on consumer needs, maintain quality, and accomplish organization's mission and vision.
- Leads the Mental Health Action team through strategic planning, program implementation, consumer focus, and team-based management.
- Coordinates our mental health programs to ensure efficient operation through cost-effective systems, productivity, efficiency, and new program and procedures.
- Develops and expands the organization's mental health program capabilities, responsiveness, and image within the Anoka county network, our facilities, and the community.
- Coordinates efforts to meet/exceed regulations and standards in mental health for the business.
- Conducts evaluations the organization's mental health care models, as needed.
- Provides recommendations to Relieve Care upper management regarding changes needed in mental health care models across the business as it relates to Medicare.
- Actively participates in networking leadership by serving as a company liaison/representative as necessary in order to develop a proactive working relationship with the mental health case managers, associations and surrounding communities.
Minimum qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 5 years of strong supervisory experience required.
- Knowledge of and experience in human service and adult mental health services.
- Knowledge of federal and state laws, rules, and regulations governing mental health services.
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree in the mental health or clinical field.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a multifaceted health care system.
- Awareness of the latest trends and developments in the mental health field, including evidence-based practices as it relates to health care policy.
- Expertise in the integration of mental health care models with primary care and addictive disorder treatments and prevention models.
- Understanding of policy changes associated with the Affordable Care Act and its effects on the overall provision and integration of mental health treatment.
- Experience in government-driven grant making.
- In-depth knowledge of Medicaid and public health systems.
