Full Job Description
Hire Resolve is currently seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the Accounting department and assisting with various accounting tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the field of accounting and further develop their skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
- Prepare and process invoices and payment requests
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Help maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Assist with payroll processing and reconciliation
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an accounting role is a plus
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
