Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team, we are a leading manufacturer in the snack industry. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing customer payments across multiple channels. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and is comfortable working with customers to resolve any payment-related issues. In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial stability of our organization by maintaining accurate records, minimizing delinquent accounts, and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain customer accounts, ensuring accurate records of customer payments, and resolving any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with customers to assist with any payment-related inquiries or issues, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform routine collection activities to minimize delinquent accounts and optimize cash flow.
• Process and apply customer payments accurately and efficiently across various payment channels.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and accounting, to manage customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Recommend process improvements to streamline accounts receivable processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Provide regular reports and updates regarding accounts receivable performance to management and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable management.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external customers.
• Experience working with ERP or accounting software systems.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
