QRY is looking for a results-driven Business Development Representative (BRD) to join our dynamic remote team. The BRD will sell media-buying and strategy services to high-growth lifestyle e-commerce brands. 

If you have experience successfully identifying, engaging, qualifying, and developing sales opportunities and building relationships with prospective clients, this could be a perfect position for you. You’ll be familiar with a consultative sales process and confident in communicating with senior-level decision-makers and executives.

Responsibilities

The BDR reports to the CEO and will be directly responsible for the following:

  • Consultative Sales:
    • You’ll utilize consultative sales skills to understand and explain media buying and strategy solutions to potential clients, to book Strategy Workshops to be led by our Senior Sales team.
    • You’ll meet and aim to beat a monthly quota of SQOs (Sales Qualified Opportunities).
    • You’ll introduce Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs) to our Senior Sales team. 
  • Prospecting and Outreach:
    • You’ll prospect new opportunities based on our ideal client profiles and perform outreach using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Pipedrive, cold calls, and emails.
    • You’ll skillfully manage a portfolio of potential clients and priorities, delivering exceptional service and value in every interaction.
    • You’ll vet opportunities based on internal qualification markers. 
    • You’ll attend tradeshows and events to make connections, meet prospective clients, and represent QRY (there is approximately 20% of travel in this role depending on events).
  • CRM & Asset Management:
    • You’ll maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and lead data through Pipedrive and our database.
    • You’ll contribute towards, track, and organize selected sales documents, including proposals, presentations, and other sales materials.
  • Market Research and Analysis
    • You’ll conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
    • You’ll analyze competitor activities and market conditions to networking and nuturing strategies.

Requirements

What makes you a great fit

✍️​ Experience: You have 1 - 2 years of successful sales experience focusing on consultative selling of conceptual solutions (not tangible products) and long sales cycles, preferably in the digital marketing space. 

📚​ Education: Ideally, you have a Bachelor’s degree in a study relating to Business, Marketing, etc.)

🤝 Relationship Builder: As the first point of contact with QRY, you can build quick rapport with prospective clients that turn into meaningful relationships.

🗂️ CRM Proficiency: You know your way around LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Pipedrive to make managing and tracking opportunities streamlined. 

✨ Organizational Wizardry: You can keep yourself, your CRM, and your sales workflow extremely organized, making life easier for you and the Senior Sales team.

🥇 Ownership Mentality: You’re a self-starter who can work independently, take ownership of results and actions, and use a growth mindset to overcome challenges going forward.
