Full Job Description
Job Overview: The New York Giants are seeking an experienced Human Resources and DEI Coordinator/Generalist with a winning/positive attitude and an understanding of the daily functions of the HR Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and coordinating with the Senior Vice President of HR and DEI with all aspects of hiring, onboarding, employee engagement, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with managers and department heads on overall hiring strategies, to understand skills and competencies required for job openings and to develop job descriptions.
- Create recruiting strategies, promote relationships with universities and industry partners, and increase the diversity of the candidate pool.
- Collaborate with Marketing to create a strong external presence through social media and job postings on external sites.
- Maintain a job description library, develop pipelines and post open job positions both internally and on external job sites.
- Coordinate interviews and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
- Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding; participate in employee orientation, along with the payroll, benefits, and security departments.
- Maintain the applicant tracking system.
- Coordinate and manage the internship program.
- Implement and monitor mandatory employee training by coordinating with various departments and outside vendors, and reporting compliance to the NFL.
- Update the company intranet site.
- Work with the Senior Vice President of HR and DEI to coordinate employee recognition initiatives, DEI initiatives, educational and developmental programs, and company-wide events to enhance employee engagement.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, DEI and talent management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- A minimum of two years of human resource/DEI and talent acquisition experience preferred.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s applicant tracking system.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
