About the Role
The D/R Ocean Rewards Representative will understand and explain Loyalty Card programs and their benefits to retain guests.
Position Responsibilities
- Understands and explains Loyalty Card programs and rewards to team members and customers
- Emphasizes the rewards and benefits of the Loyalty Card Program to promote customer retention
- Enrolls customers into the Loyalty Card program, updates existing information, issues cards, and emphasizes the rewards and benefits of the Card Program
- Manages the daily operation of the Loyalty Card Center, Kiosk and Satellite sign-up locations. This includes inventorying of all supplies and ordering as business needs dictate.
- Recommend improvements as related to customer and employee feedback
- Must be able to amicably resolve employee and customer related problems quickly and professionally
- Must be able to work extensively with team members in a coaching, mentoring, training as well as a disciplinary capacity
- Oversee all day to day functions of the Players Club Representatives, such as scheduling, assigning and daily briefing of any vital information.
- Maintain promotional calendar, required rules and regulations at the booth to ensure ease of accessibility for the Players Club Representatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to assisting Player Development, Guest Services, Reservations, Front Desk, Promotions/Special Events, with cards and gift distribution.
- Comply with all New Jersey regulatory requirements, Departmental and Company Policies including Ocean Casino Resort Atlantic City’s business ethics guidelines
- Maintain confidentially of all Ocean Casino Resort Atlantic City trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information
- This position issues comps but does not comp to the level which requires a casino key employee license in accordance with NJ CASINO CONTROL ACT & COMMISSION REGULATIONS
Essential Functions
- Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas
- Repetitive finger and wrist motion (key board data entry) as well as prolonged viewing of data on a computer monitor
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs
What’s Required
- High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred; minimum two years of recent and relevant work experience
- A minimum of 2 year Supervisory experience in a casino environment
- Advanced customer service and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication required
- Computer related experience desired including AS400, CMS, and/or ACSC systems
- Ability to maintain high levels of productivity
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
