Full Job Description
The Lab Management Software Administrator (LMS) Admin is responsible for activities related to the design, installation, management, and maintenance of applications (Ocuco, Innovations), server systems(physical/virtual) in regard to the manufacturing environment. The support responsibility is shared with the associated hardware and software application vendors.
Responsibilities
- Make adjustments to lens SKUs based off of power results
- Frame and lens uploads
- Setup lens redirects to help with inventory control
- Build base curve and frame charts for lens calculations
- Add machines to machine interface in the Zenni approved format and naming convention
- Add and remove users from LMS accounts
- Work with LMS vendor to establish reporting and processes remote
- Assist production associates with use of LMS
- Work with IT when functions of LMS aren't working, such as servers down or not working correctly
- Work with IT on software updates and server maintenance
- Verify machine connectivity via machine interface
- Work with Development, B2B and B2C teams on new products and product flows through LMS
Requirements
- 3+ years optical experience
- Licensed optician or something similar
- IT experience
- Experience with LMS (Lab Management Software) we use Ocuco, Innovations
