As we continue to expand our reach, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Partnerships Manager to join our team and report directly to the Head of Growth. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who thrives in a startup environment and is passionate about building strategic partnerships that drive new channels of customer acquisition and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Customer Acquisition and Relationship Management
- Identify, develop, and manage partnerships with organizations catering to small businesses, including but not limited to financial services companies, affiliate marketers or content publishers, and other lead generation firms.
- Lifecycle Management
- Assess and understand the typical lifecycle of partnerships, aiming to provide service to partners from onboarding to growth. Prioritize partnerships based on strategic value and revenue potential.
- Prioritization and Decision-Making
- Evaluate and prioritize partnerships and make informed decisions on resource allocation for optimal results.
- Analytics and Data Presentation
- Utilize analytical skills to manipulate, interpret, and present data effectively. Leverage data-driven insights to guide partnership strategies and decision-making.
- Marketing Familiarity
- Demonstrate familiarity with marketing principles to enhance partnership development and communication strategies.
- Proposal Creation and Pitching
- Develop compelling and relationship-focused proposals for potential partnerships. Effectively communicate the value and benefits of collaboration with BusinessLoans.com.
- Role Transition and Management
- After successfully managing partnership activities with expected company growth, the role will include hiring and managing an Account Manager(s) while transitioning into more business development duties once relationships are established.
Requirements
Experience and Growth Mindset
• Possess 3-6 years of relevant experience, with a focus on achievements and contributions to previous companies.
• Embrace opportunities for upward growth and mobility within the organization.
• Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating the ability to thrive in a startup culture.
• Adapt to changes and contribute proactively to the success of the team.
Preferred Tangible and Cultural Fit
· Preferred location of hire at our Charleston HQ office, but open to remote candidates based in the NYC area.
· In-office presence is required 5 days a week in Charleston with flexibility.
· Travel expectations- 3-5 days per month to visit new and existing partners and/or attend industry conferences
