Full Job Description
The Billing Support Clerk is responsible for receiving and sorting incoming loads from drivers and checking for accuracy to ensure accurate payment. They are responsible for managing the status of accounts and balances and identifying inconsistencies.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Experience with QuickBooks and Excel a plus.
- Invoice Generation: prepare and issue invoices to customers/clients based on load record and adherence to billing policies and procedures.
- Billing Reconciliation: conduct regular reconciliations of billing statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of billing records. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies for billing errors in a timely manner.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter billing data into Excel log, including client information.
- Client Communication: Respond promptly and professionally to billing-related questions or concerns, providing explanations as needed.
- Collections Management: Monitor AP/AR reports for aging /overdue payments.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records, including invoices, payment receipts, and correspondence with clients.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Bilingual is a plus
- Prior experience handling or creating invoices for billing purposes preferred.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience in Paylocity is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and time management skills.
- High level of confidentiality and integrity.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general documents and a basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, and QuickBooks.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this job include prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and long hours on a computer keyboard.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
