Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a leading company in one of their many offices in TX to find a skilled individual to join the team as a BIM Process Specialist.
In this role, you'll be focusing on making our design processes smoother and more efficient through digital technology. Your main job will be to study how we currently use technology in our design work, find ways to make it better, and then put those improvements into action. You'll also keep an eye on new trends and technologies in the industry to help us stay ahead of the curve.
- Identifies and documents existing Design Technology/BIM processes
- Conducts audits to pinpoint bottlenecks and redundancies
- Analyzes data to identify slowdowns or errors
- Gathers feedback from project teams on challenges
- Researches industry benchmarks to identify gaps
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and implement digital workflows and automation solutions
- Engages stakeholders and proposes integrated workflows
- Collaborates with IT for custom solutions
- Leads workshops for input and buy-in
- Tests and refines workflows for continuous improvement
- Collaborates with technology teams on documenting and training for new digital workflows and tools
- Creates clear training materials
- Conducts training sessions
- Offers ongoing support for effective adoption
- Oversees digital processes
- Sets KPIs for optimization
- Regularly gathers feedback
- Analyzes data for improvements
- Uses insights to fine-tune processes and address unintended consequences
- Stays current on Design Technology/Building Information Modeling and process automation trends
- Attends events and collaborates with peers
- Evaluates emerging technologies
- Provides recommendations for process improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 3-5 years of industry experience preferred
- Professional experience in BIM process optimization, automation, or related roles
- Experience conducting feasibility studies for new digital solutions; Lean Six Sigma preferred
- Proven track record of implementing successful digital workflows and process improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in process mapping and optimization techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with digital workflow design and implementation
- Experience creating written and/or recorded workflows and learning resources
- Experience implementing and supporting new/existing workflows
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with automation tools, scripting languages, open APIs, and database structures
- Expertise in relevant industry software such as Revit, BIM360/ACC, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python Tools, etc.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Analytical and technical orientation, prioritizing high-quality work and efficiency
- Occasional travel required for on-site training at different office locations
