Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Multi-disciplinary Architecture firm urgently seeking the expertise of a BIM Process Specialist in Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Identifies and documents existing Design Technology/BIM processes, conducting audits to pinpoint bottlenecks and redundancies, analyzing data to identify slowdowns or errors, gathering feedback from project teams on challenges, and researching industry benchmarks to identify gaps.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and implement digital workflows and automation solutions. Engages stakeholders, proposes integrated workflows, collaborates with IT for custom solutions, leads workshops for input and buy-in, and tests and refines workflows for continuous improvement.
- Collaborates with technology teams on documenting and training for new digital workflows and tools, creating clear materials, conducting sessions, and offering ongoing support for effective adoption.
- Oversees digital processes, sets KPIs for optimization, regularly gathers feedback, analyzes data for improvements, and uses insights to fine-tune processes and address unintended consequences.
- Stays current on Design Technology/Building Information Modeling and process automation trends by attending events, collaborating with peers, and evaluating emerging technologies to provide recommendations for process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional experience in BIM process optimization, automation, or related roles. 3-5 years industry experience preferred.
- Experience in conducting feasibility studies to assess the potential impact and viability of implementing new digital solutions. Lean Six Sigma preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in DT/BIM process optimization, automation, or related roles.
- Proven track record of implementing successful digital workflows and process improvements.
- Experience creating written and/or recorded workflows and learning resources.
- Experience implementing and supporting new/existing workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in process mapping and optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with digital workflow design and implementation.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with automation tools, scripting languages, open API’s, and database structures.
- Expertise in relevant industry software, including Revit, , BIM360/ACC, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python Tools, etc.
- Thrives in fast-paced environment with the ability to lead and control multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical and technical orientation rather than a social orientation. High standards, high quality work is of utmost importance. Structured, organized, and efficient work expected of self and others.
- Occasional travel to each of the firms’ offices for on-site training will be required.
