Full Job Description
The Sales Operations Team Lead role is part of a team selling structure, requiring close collaboration with Manufacturing, Sales Teams, Project Managers, and Engineers to ensure a seamless customer experience while actively contributing to the continuous improvement of departmental processes.
Essential Job Functions include the following, but are not limited to:
- Leads a team to ensure that sales and service operations tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Responsible for ensuring team is processing of sales orders, quotes and inquiries from customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Assists with service coordination and generation of service RMAs and service part numbers.
- Ensures part numbers are created as needed, verifies RFQs and converts them into Sales quotes.
- Manages fulfillment of sales orders, coordinates with the production and logistics department ship dates and logistics.
- Organizes workflows to meet customer deadlines as well as meeting department goals and initiatives.
- Coordinates the quoting process throughout the different departments, including product management, lead times, and logistics.
- Ensures customer questions, complaints and concerns immediately, and facilitate satisfactory resolution.
- Comply with the company pricing policy.
- Reviews quotes and invoices for accuracy.
In addition to the essential functions and duties listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
· Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
· Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.

Physical Activities:
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary.
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position preferred.
Education:
- Associates Degree or higher preferred
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and ERP
- Strong proficiency in sales and customer service
- Good organizational skills to coordinate all aspects of sales administration
- Able to work accurately with attention to detail to minimize errors so that they process orders quickly and efficiently.
- Strong ability to multitask, work under time constraints, and solve problems
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Experience and training in bid preparation, contract review and export control
- Must possess ability to resolve moderately complex management and technical problems; may serve as spokesperson on assigned projects and/or programs; and provide leadership and direction to assigned professional staff.
- Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with customers, potential customers, internal departments, all levels of management, professional and support staff.
- Must be able to work on a self-initiated basis and in a team environment.
