Full Job Description
Reporting to the CHRO, you will provide human resources leadership and tactical HR generalist support for our headquarters location. This position is responsible for executing HR strategies and initiatives including but not limited to, managing talent acquisition, talent management, performance management and other human capital initiatives. This role will partner closely with the CHRO to deliver on business objectives to support the growth and success of the business.
Position Responsibilities
· Working with and as a part of the corporate HR team, to develop and implement programs to maximize employee engagement, performance and development.
· Working with leadership to develop and execute human capital strategies that achieve operational objectives, advance company business priorities, promote positive employee relations, and increase employee engagement.
· Provide leadership and guidance to managers regarding the application and interpretation of human resources practices, policies, and procedures.
· Coach and counsel management and hourly employees regarding policies and procedures, discipline, interpersonal and teamwork opportunities.
· Leading the talent acquisition process for the site by preparing and updating job descriptions, conducting employment interviews, reference checks, background checks, drug screens, and other screening activities guided by our corporate standards.
· Manage on-boarding process and follow up with new team members as they integrate into our culture. Maintains high levels of engagement with team members at all times using various employment engagement programs and strategies.
· Works with site leadership to administer performance management and compensation programs.
· Coordinate and administer promotions, transfers, wage/salary increases, procedures, and other HR programs in compliance with Corporate HR.
· Assist team members with resources and information on benefits, payroll, etc.
· Maintain knowledge of company policies and government regulations to ensure company compliance.
· Promote and participate in local community activities to promote positive community relations.
· Engage in other HR activities and special projects as assigned and share best practices across all sites.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; discipline in Human Resources or Business Management preferred.
- 5-7 years of Human Resource generalist experience administering and managing performance processes, compensation programs, talent acquisition, talent management and employee engagement programs.
- Previous experience supporting engineering and a corporate office is a plus.
- Through knowledge of Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel skills).
- Experience working with an HRIS solution including processing HR transactions.
- PHR or SPHR a plus.
